After the fireworks of PlayStation and the console drops of Xbox, it didn't look like there was much room amongst the headlines of E3 to squeeze a Nintendo story in. With no console reveal and only a clutch of games that would appeal to mature gamers (anyone over the age of 25 anyway), it was left to Zelda to save the day.
Mercifully, Link came through.
