Here's the first trailer for the new Aaron Paul TV series

This looks set to be a cult classic. Literally.

The first trailer for Aaron Paul's new TV series The Path - his first non-animated TV lead since Breaking Bad - has landed and it looks like it's going to be a dark, dense, thrilling journey.

The 36-year-old Paul stars as Eddie Cleary, a husband and father of two whose family become entangled in the workings of a cult, lead by the charismatic Cal Robert (played by Hugh Dancy). True Detective's Michelle Monaghan plays Eddie's wife Sarah, who is forced to deal with Cal's interference in her life and marriage.

The Path is due to run for ten episodes on Hulu, premiering on 30 March - there's currently no word on which UK channel will be picking it up, but we hope someone sorts something out pretty quickly as, on the evidence of this, it looks spectacular.
