Last week, having ploughed through 2,136 scripts for our Sitcom Search competition, we whittled it down to 40.
This week, our judging panel – which includes Friday Night Dinner creator Robert Popper – has cut it to five (we know we said it would be four, but the quality meant we added one extra).

Hated by Nathan Thomas and Daniel Berg
Siblings by Martin Holmes
The Motherhood by Abby Wolf
Finalists will have mentoring and workshop guidance from comedy writers, which include Him & Her creator Stefan Golaszewski and Fresh Meat writer Jon Brown.
Later this month we’ll unveil the winner, who’ll receive a £5,000 development deal with Big Talk and Comedy Central UK.
