Any sensible fans of The Elder Scrolls will have cleared their diaries from April onwards - but now you're going to want to free up the next 8 minutes of your day.
As the massive online experience nears its PC and Mac release on 4 April, Bethesda have cranked up expectation levels to dangerous highs with the release of a stunning cinematic trailer, titled "The Arrival".
Featuring a plethora of characters that have featured in previous Elder Scrolls cinematics, the video packs in a feast of CGI spells and combat action - none of it gameplay, but all of it thoroughly exciting.
Bethesda have also announced an Imperial Edition of the game for PC and Mac: a bumper physical pack (£89.99) including a Molag Bal statue, map of Tamriel and steelbook casing, while a digital edition (£69.99) includes the option of playing as an Imperial. You can order one at the Bethesda store and prepare yourself for several evenings in.

He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
