You can do quite a few things with an iPad but it’s a fair guess that Henry Hargreaves has come up with a use beyond even Steve Jobs’ imagination.
The inventive photographer decided to deep-fry electronic gadgets and then take jarring yet oddly mouth-watering snaps of the results. His inspiration was a video of some Japanese kids trying to deep-fry and (unsuccessfully) eat a PSP.
Before you choke on your …err deep-fried Mars bar at the thought of all those shiny goodies melting into oblivion, Hargreaves has an admission to make.
"I'm not rich enough to buy and destroy the electronics, nor did I want to find out what happens to a lithium battery when it goes in 400 degrees of oil," he says. "So I recreated each product from foam core and we went to town."
Phew.
