Having seen most of Midtown Manhattan rent asunder in The Avengers, the latest trailer for Joss Whedon's second slick-tongued super reunion looks to raise the metropolitan destruction bar up a notch.
Urban unrest aside, Avengers: Age of Ultron is shaping up to be the sternest offering of the Marvel cinema universe yet: the jovial rivalry between Tony Stark and Captain America gains a steely edge and battles against Ultron's forces have more than a hint of desperation.
Will Age of Ultron manage to balance a huge cast with a "serious" storyline? We'll have to wait until 23 April to find out.
