Few things in life are as satisfying as nailing a basket, so anything that helps us do that more regularly is of extreme interest to us.
So step forward Hoop Tracker - the world's first basketball watch. Comprising a magnetic shot tracker, which attaches to the basket, and a receiver watch, it monitors every successful and not-so-successful shot you attempt and tracks it to your position on the court. Over time, you can then measure your areas to improve, together with your overall shooting progress.
Naturally it comes with additional software so you can thoroughly analyse your performance, and also includes games and challenges to improve your play. Only two minor drawbacks - complete misses need to be logged manually, and we presume a slam dunk will likely destroy the basket attachment.
Still, this is simple, cool and useful. What more do you want?
Watch the video below for a thorough explanation, and head to the Hoop Tracker website for more info.
