

As the end of the year approaches, the flurry of round-up lists comes our way and either makes us feel warmly nostalgic or bitterly regretful of our exploits in 2011.
Yahoo have assembled a list of the most searched terms of the year and it's a combination of the two. For the first time since 2002, a gadget has topped the list. Back then it was the PlayStation2 but this year it was the iPhone. Take that Android-sympathisers!
The second most-searched term was Casey Anthony, who was acquitted of murdering her daughter while the most-searched celebrity was, depressingly, Kim Kardashian.
