15 ways your office job is literally killing you

“Workin' 9 to 5, what a way to make a livin'” once imparted Dolly Parton on the upsides of a desk job.

What the forever grinning diminutive country and western star failed to mention, however, was that it also KILLS you.

Put together by Business Insider, this ruddy insightful graphic exposes 15 ways in which your daily 9-5 toil in a modern office could seriously increasing your chances of going to an early grave.

Featuring a few sensible ones your mum could have written - ‘skipping breakfast puts your body in a stressful state’, regularly eating bad lunches increases the risk of heart disease’ and 'slouching is bad' - even she would be none the wiser at other potentially fatal aspects of the office environment.

Some of these humdingers include laser printers (toner particles can get into your lungs and lead to lung disease), ‘sick building syndrome’ (the air inside a building can be up to 100 times dirtier than outside), and even motivational meetings, which can actually end up depressing people.

So read on below, desk dwellers. It may just save your life.
