After watching our fair share of films involving fugitives, we can safely say that we think we'd do a pretty good job, if we were ever on the run.
Two major rules: don't run out of petrol in the middle of nowhere and don't let the sheriff know your whereabouts. "Bravely" ignoring both of those suggestions, 59-year-old Oregon resident Richard Vincent was on the run after violating his parole for a murder conviction when he found himself in quite the predicament.
Stranded in Wyoming, without any gas, he decided that the best thing to do was to call the local sheriff's office for some assistance. State troopers were sent to help him out but when they learned that he had an outstanding felony warrant, he was taken in.
He's now being held by authorities, with severe stupidity added to his list of crimes.
