The new Star Wars: Battlefront trailer is going to make your day

Typical.

You wait ten years for a reason to get excited about Star Wars (33 if you the prequel trilogy never stirred you) and then two come along at once.

While The Force Awakens threatens to break every box office record in cinema history, Star Wars: Battlefront has its sights aimed squarely at scooping a few console bragging rights of its own.

Promising vast multiplayer battles across Hoth, Endor, Tatooine and the previously unexplored planets, the minds behind the Battlefield series bring their fine-tuned machine of "killing mates for fun" to the Star Wars world in spectacular style.

Dibs on Boba Fett.

Star Wars: Battlefront arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 19 November
