VIDEO: What Lance Armstrong really sees on a ride

It's not been a great year for Lance Armstrong. The poster boy for cycling was banned for life and had his titles stripped after he was found to be using drugs to enhance his performance.

Sort of makes your accidental reply all email in the office seems a bit tame now, huh?

As part of an alternative look at 2012, Channel 4 has given us an insight into what one of Lance's rides actually looks like from his point of view.

This and similarly skewed views on the year are part of 2012: Mashed, one of the season's more interesting TV offerings.
