DC's Halloween Comic Covers

We know it's mid July, but the level of cool contained within the following art will counter any seasonal confusion you might be feeling. Trust us.

In order to celebrate this year's Halloween, the comic book legends at DC have created a set of decidedly sinister themed covers for some of their most popular characters.

Artists including Neal Adams, Rafael Albuquerque, Chris Burnham will give a undead overhaul to the likes of Superman, Batman and Aqua Man. We're intrigued to see if any undead plot lines will emerge over the autumnal season - Solomon Grundy could do with some new friends.

A selection of the work can be seen below. Keep an eye out over October for an appearance of these ghouls in your nearest comic book store.
