Brent's back.
Here comes the first trailer for Ricky Gervais’s David Brent: Life on the Road, giving us a proper eyeful of what we can expect to see when the ex-Wernham Hogg boss on the big screen.
One of the most eagerly awaited British comedies in years, it sees Brent heading out on a self-financed UK tour with his old band Foregone Conclusion – though the debauched on-tour antics of groupies and speedballs will have to wait, for this clip sees Gervais’ perennially misunderstood salesman back in his natural habitat: an office.
Cue nervous glances to the camera, woefully inappropriate small talk and more tie-adjusting unease than you can shake a guitar at.
David Brent: Life on the Road is out in cinemas from August
