JFK meets Back to the Future.
If that sentence didn't pique your interest then - well - we’re afraid we can’t be friends anymore.
Because that’s exactly how we’re describing 11.22.63, a forthcoming TV show so promising we've practically started a countdown for it.
Which, by the looks of the clock-ticking second trailer, playing out backwards and in slow motion, seems fitting. Based on the Stephen King book, James Franco stars the unassuming high school English teacher who hops back in a time portal to prevent the assassination of John F Kennedy.
As time ticks by, he finds his mission compromised by a multitude of factors: his heart (he falls in love), the past itself, which Final Destination-style, will try its best to remain unchanged, and Lee Harvey Oswald (obviously).
Set to air on Hulu on 15 February 2016, we only wish we had a time machine to jump there now.
