Stephen King is no stranger to following the understandable urge to poke your head in front of the camera, and it seems he'll be appearing on screen again in the new series of Under The Dome, the second season of the series based on his book of the same name.
Executive producer Neal Baer revealed to USA Today that, in addition to writing the first episode of the new season, entitled Heads Will Roll, King himself will appear in a cameo role, as he has done several times before in adaptations of his works.
He'll be seen in the town's diner, with Baer commenting that, "it was fantastic to work directly with Stephen. He's been a real hero of mine and now I get to work with him". He added that King will be seen as, "just a citizen of Chester's Mill for at least the moment."
This news adds to the gradual revealing of teaser information about the new series, including the addition of six new characters.
