Well this is exciting.
Thirty seconds is all it takes to make us quiver with anticipation for the new Stephen King 11.22.63 'event series', to be broadcast on Hulu from February next year.
There's a wealth of material in the clip, which shows James Franco as teacher Jake Epping, given his mission statement to head through a portal to 1958 and prevent the assassination of JFK.
The last few seconds are a blur of images: a man holding a pistol, a blonde woman reading a book, a man punching Jake, a clock hitting the 12 and a tape recording playing. What could it all mean? All will be revealed in February (unless you've already read the book of course).
There's an impressive set of names attached to the project, featuring executive production from Star Wars director J.J. Abrams, King himself, writer Bridget Carpenter and Bryan Burk, alongside Franco as producer. It's been described as "part thriller, part love story", while King has already given it his approval, telling Yahoo TV: "It's remarkable, terrific. They did a great job".
We'll take his word for it and jump aboard the hype train.
