Much like policemen getting younger, the price of beer always feels like it's going up, up and up some more.
As the price of a pint in some salubrious areas of the UK breaks the five pound barrier (we had to have a sit down after that one although, luckily, we were in a pub), it's good to be reminded how we compare on the scale of expensiveness against the rest of the world.
This fantastic infographic, created by financesonline.com serves up a range of beer price facts: the countries with the cheapest beers, the countries that drink the most and the biggest-selling beer brands worldwide. Pro tip: if you're a beer lover, avoid the Middle East.
