

Much like policemen getting younger, the price of beer always feels like it's going up, up and up some more.
As the price of a pint in some salubrious areas of the UK breaks the five pound barrier (we had to have a sit down after that one although, luckily, we were in a pub), it's good to be reminded how we compare on the scale of expensiveness against the rest of the world.
