A Real Life Landmark Map Of Raymond Chandler’s LA

We don't know much about map buying in downtown LA. But what we do know is that it requires parting with cash in exchange for a handful of addresses of A-list Hollywood stars, which probably aren't their real addresses anyway.

 

Thankfully for fans of Raymond Chandler, and anyone not after a restraining order, this is a good deal better than that. Created by writer and historian Kim Cooper with help from London-based design group Herb Lester Associates, this fantastic map plots rare points of interest of Chandler’s work.

 

 

Costing just £4 and designed like the sort of map you could imagine Chandler furiously scribbling over as he penned his intrigue-laced plots, it's worth buying whatever city you're in.
