Someone's managed to get Half-Life working on an Android Watch

We're still not sure what to do with smartwatches.

They send updates from a device that's already in your pocket, they let you pick new faces to sate your constant desire for change and sometimes they tell the time. A new use has just been uncovered by Dave Bennett - who's transformed his into a tiny, impracticable device for playing your favourite video game.

Tech guru Bennett has shared a video and guide on how to make an Android Wear watch run - albeit inefficiently - Valve's classic sci-fi shooter, Half-Life.

The unlikely port is possible thanks to the SDLash app, an emulator able to pump out a similar game engine to the one Valve used to build Half-Life

Sure, the visuals slow down the moment anything with a detailed surface starts moving, and the touch screen controls are impossible (there are less than 2-inches of screen to tap on), but as Bennett states, "Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. But in this case, you totally should".
