Frantic Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Trailer

COD1.jpg

So far, the fanfare surrounding Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been akin to a Hollywood-killing battle cry - led by that strange "WHARMP" trumpet noise that always makes it into Christopher Nolan films.

The latest gameplay launch trailer looks to take the lethal edge off, reminding us that this is set to be an entertaining - and importantly, fun - adventure into a future of robotic suits, drones and deadly tech toys. A game in which pulling you an enemy from a mech with your wrist-mounted cable launcher is the most fun you've had since you found that website of the dogs that look like politicians.

That said, Kevin Spacey still doesn't look like a barrel of laughs...

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare arrives on 4 November
