Chilling Trailer For Destiny: The Dark Below

Hit level 30 yet? Of course you have. Amassed an arsenal of exotic weapons and armour? Obviously. If you were starting to fret you'd pushed Bungie's Destiny as far as it could go, the studio has an early Christmas present for you. Lots of them, in fact.

The Dark Below is the first of many promised expansions for the online game of the moment, crammed with new gear, armour and weapons to entice the collectors amongst you. But there's much more to the release than a collection of shiny new bang sticks: the light level cap has been raised to 32, giving additional incentive to play through the new Raid mission in the depths of the Hellmouth and take on a new Strike in the Jovian Complex.

There's also a new chunk of story missions and quests, along with yet more Crucible maps to master (and inevitably, die in).

Check out the new launch trailer for a taste of the explosive things to come.

The Dark Below arrives on 9 December
