The Kettle That Makes You Toast

Tired of kitchen clutter? Prefer your work surfaces clear? Ever looked at your kettle, then at your toaster, then forlornly back at your kettle again and thought ‘Why aren’t these guys stuck together?’

Wonder no more. South Korean designers Won Kang, Hyo Kang and Min Kyu have come up with Baking Pot, a handy gadget that gives you breakfast at the push of a button.

Simply, it’s a kettle with a toaster mounted horizontally in the base. The kettle part detaches, so you don’t pick the whole thing up and pour boiling water and piping hot toast at the same time.

The name could probably do with a tweak, though. At the moment, ‘Baking Pot’ sounds a bit misleading, given it neither works as a pot, nor does any baking. How about Koaster? Or Tettle?
