The Cat Nav Has Been Invented

If aliens landed on Earth and they logged straight onto the Internet, chances are they'd think the world was run by cats, such is our dedication to digitally documenting their every move.

One chap in particular has taken it a step further with his invention of a new gadget dubbed the 'Cat Nav'.

Designed by Dave Evans from Marlborough, the G-Paws GPS cat tracker, is used to track the movements of your pet throughout the day.

After attaching the device to your animal's collar, once it returns after a hard day of sleeping in the middle of the road and catching birds, the information can be downloaded, so you can see exactly what they've been up to on Google maps.

Dave came up with the idea when his own silver tabby, Yollo, was mysteriously disappearing and putting on weight each day.

The ultra-light GPS is weatherproof, weighs just 15g and will cost £50. It can also be used for dogs.
