The Deadly Future Of Google Glass?

main2.jpg
main1.jpg

Wear a pair of the clunky Google Glass today and the biggest danger you’ll likely pose is banging into a lamp post. That and your fashion credibility.

Don a pair in the near future, however, and, if a certain US precision-guided firearms company are proven right, that wearable tech might also be compatible with the battlefield.

How, you ask? This slightly unsettling concept video from Texan firm TrackPoint imagines a marksman on a combat range not even needing to poke his head out to take a shot inf front of him, opting to aim his sights and take out his target from around a corner.

Do we need to be worried by this? Probably. Do we now want to stop what we’re doing and watch Universal Soldier right now? Definitely.
