The 3D Laptop

3D Laptop pic.jpg

Technology is a funny thing to behold. Just when you think there's absolutely nothing left to be invented, some really clever type goes and invents something really clever. So without further ado, we give you, the 3D laptop...

The golden age of 3D cinema was the Fifties when more than 5,000 American theatres regularly screened the likes of Dial M For Murder in three dimensions with the aid of cardboard specs. Unfortunately, the novelty wore off a lot faster than the migraines did. Despite these teething troubles, 3D is back once again, this time bigger and better and more technologically advanced. The creation methods have leapt forward, and Asus is taking advantage of the rise of 3D TVs with its G51Jx laptop, which allows you to watch 3D films and play 3D Vision-ready games.

SPEC l Intel Core i7 processor l 15.6in 3D HD display l 640GB hard drive l combined Blu-ray/DVD drive l HDMI output socket l two headphone jacks l three-hour battery life

BEST BIT Asus SmartLogon facial recognition software detects your face so that you have one password less to remember. Plus, you can have hours of fun trying to confuse it with a beard/moustache

NERD AMMO The new stereoscopic 3D TVs use the same principle as Sega’s 1985 console accessory, SegaScope 3D
