Incredible 41-shot table tennis rally

So you think you know your way around a table tennis table? Proud of your vicious backhand top spin finisher? You've got nothing on these guys - we promise you.

A staggering display of table tennis prowess occurred in the second match of the Common Wealth Games table tennis semi-finals. Having taken a strong grip on the match at two games to nil, Singapore's Ning Gao (in the red) proceeded to push home his advantage in the third game against Nigeria's Segun Toriola.

Forced back by the aggressive pressing of Gao, Toriola produces some of the finest defensive table tennis you'll ever see outside of your youth club - returning shots from what could be a different post code to win a 41-shot rally.

Having claimed victory in this titanic mini-battle, Toriola proceeded to win the next two games, before Gao was ultimately victorious in the fifth deciding game. Here's hoping someone makes Toriola a special medal in the name of entertainment.
