They come in any colour you want, so long as it's black. Or grey. Or white. And they do blue, red and green as well. Okay, so this poster of classic American cars is more varied than we first thought.

The automotive aficionados at Pop Chart Lab have compiled an extensive collection of 108 American vehicles on one fine page, picking out the highlights of the US car industry's history from 1895 to 2014.

Including iconic wheels from the "Tin Lizzie" Ford Model T to the Chrysler 300C, the Shelby Mustang GT350 to the Corvette Sting Ray, modern stars such the Tesla Model S manage to hold their own.

The average gas mileage might be terrible and they don't corner well, but you'll struggle to find a more beautiful set of national wheels. Expect maybe the Italians. Or the Germans. Maybe even the British. The Japanese aren't so bad either... Head over to Pop Chart Lab to pick up a print for around £22.
