An Excellent Hollywood Mashup Of Uptown Funk

Move over Bruno Mars, Hollywood is now putting the titular funk into one of the biggest hits of last year.

Starring pretty much every movie character worth knowing about, this nostalgia-heavy mashup employs numerous film clips to provide the audio for Mark Ronson’s best-selling, disco-heavy floor-filler in what could be one of the best internet triumphs of the last year.

Cartoon, indie, blockbuster, teary drama – there are all sorts of favourites and lesser known titles to keep you occupied as you follow the track, perhaps realising how lyrically deep it actually is. Much like in the real life video itself, pelvic thrusting plays a large part, with the likes of Napoleon Dynamite and Pretty In Pink’s Jon Cryer doing their bit in this regard.

We kid you not – this could be one of the greatest mashups ever made.

Don’t believe us, just watch…
