All hail iPhone table

It’s often said by people cleverer than us that necessity is the mother of invention. Having seen Table Connect, the world’s first iPhone table, we’re not so sure. We think that necessity isn’t the pre-requisite here – would you really want to eat your Sugar Puffs off it first thing in the morning, for example?

Either way, we’re suitably impressed. Basically, what happens is this: connect your iPhone by a standard dock (wireless capability is on the way) and once the dedicated app has loaded you control the 58” multi-touch table much like your iPhone. Scrolling, pinch zooming… it’s all there.

Just check the video below for a neat demonstration. Not so sure about all the photos of Arnie and Sly from their 80s heyday, but it just goes to show you can’t have everything.
