There's a cool optical illusion hidden on this Starbucks cup

Star2.jpg

You know what you’re getting when you leave a Starbucks: dilated pupils, a slightly lighter wallet and, inevitably, a pang of disappointment when you realise the server spelt your name wrong.

Whether a running joke or genuinely a problem, enunciating your name and seeing it embossed as something else entirely is par for the course. Though not for Imgur user CuteDummy, who recently got more bargained for when picking up an ice coffee.

Not only did they spell her name correctly – a miracle – but there was something of an optical illusion to it.

Yep, on the outside it’s for “Anne”; on the inside it’s for Julia. Two different names on one extremely moreish looking drink. She probably said her name was Claire, but we're still impressed.

We like it a latte.
