Tinder recently came under fire in a fairly lengthy Vanity Fair article that provided a scathing assessment of the dating app's rise to power and subsequent transformation of the relationship landscape.

Not very nice if you work for Tinder, however, most social media or public relation teams would bite their lip, mutter their response and hope that the mention of their service in a high profile publication might bring new users to their door out of curiosity.

What most people wouldn't do is start smashing your fists into a keyboard like a pubescent child, rattling off stats and sarcastic remarks in an attempt to save face.

Which is exactly what Twitter did...

Ooh, a 'factual' conversation - implying that Sales' piece didn't use facts. BURN.

Well, Tinder?

Erm... that's not exactly a factual conversation, Tinder.

Stop it Tinder. Stop.

The rant continues, for another dozen or so career-ending Tweets.

Yep. It was that weird. And we even skipped a few.

Word is yet to arrive as to who was managing the Tinder Twitter account during this vomit of anger, but we can only assume they'll be receiving a severe dressing down in the next few days. Unless this is what everyone within Tinder is like... in which case, we can understand why they might need help finding dates.
