Even if you're penniless, you need never go thirsty again.

This amazing infographic, titled The Compendium Of Alcohol Ingredients And Processes, was created by the good people at Winebags.com and shows you how to make nearly 50 kinds of alcohol from around the world. But if you've got some palm tree sap handy and are prepared to wait while it ferments, you can rustle up an Indian toddy (4% ABV). Or, if you're feeling more ambitious, you can cook, crush and ferment some blue agave plant, add some yeast, hang about for a few weeks, twice-distill what you've got left over and help yourself to some home-made tequila. And you thought it was a faff just getting hold of the lemon and salt?
