Robert Downey Jr. just welcomed Tom Hiddleston to Instagram by taking the p*ss

Robert Downey Jr. is used to trading onscreen blows with his co-star Tom Hiddleston in the Marvel films, but he’s now extended his rivalry to social media.

After Hiddleston introduced himself to Instagram with a cheeky on set selfie from Thor: Ragnarok in full Loki costume, with the caption: “”He’s back!"

He's back!

Without missing a beat, Downey Jr., aka Iron Man himself, dug out one of the pap snaps of Hiddleston wearing a ‘I <3 T.S.’ vest, adding the devious caption “Join me in welcoming the biggest T. Stark fan of them all to Instagram! @twhiddleston.”

Now, while pedants might point out that the initials on Hiddleston’s tacky top was actually a reference to his girlfriend Taylor Swift, we prefer to believe that it’s more a case of the slow integration of the Marvel Universe into our own.
