Jon Stewart & Stephen Colbert Do Lightsaber Battle

star1.jpg

Taking a rare break from ruling their respective intergalactic satirical news show empires, Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert have teamed for a brilliant short video.

In the video - set up to help UNICEF initiative A Force For Change which is giving people a chance to win a part in J. J. Abrams’ upcoming blockbuster - we see the erstwhile Daily Show colleagues duke it out to see just which of the pair is the bigger Star Wars geek.

Unsurprisingly, the budget isn’t quite up to the standards of the Abrams production, making for one hilarious showdown, which, as a bonus, arguably contains a twist to rival that of when we discovered who Luke’s dad was.
