Comedians as superheroes

NM-Bill-Comic.jpg

When you think of the word superhero, chances are you'll conjure up a picture of a composed, physically fit and possibly humourless specimen who'd inspire confidence in their ability to save the day.

These aren't typically characteristics that you'd use to describe comedians.

Yet the talented chap at Old Red Jalopy, who created the Lego Oscar posters, decided that it was time we stopped underplaying the heroic qualities often found within funny folk.

These nifty comic book covers showcase a world where justice is served with a wisecrack, or in the case of Eddie Murphy a wisecrack and a 'hilarious' fat suit. The cities may not be safer but the mood would definitely be lighter.

You can see more of his great work here
