Alternative Oscars posters

argo hero.jpg

If, like us, you're a little bit excited about the upcoming Oscars then we trust you'll share our warm feelings over these. They also bring in our love of alternative poster designs.

To celebrate the awards, Gallery 1988 (you'll know them from previously awesome collections such as the Judd Apatow exhibit and this Avengers set of prints) has commissioned a group of artists to create posters based on the nine Best Picture nominees.

Apparently there's more to come but we'll warmly accept this as a perfectly great start.

The show will run from February 14-17 over in LA.
