Radio Partridge App Launched

radioalanHERO.jpg

We already know that Alan Partridge is a master of the radio medium, effortlessly linking songs, instigating hot topics, and providing fascinating facts. But, sadly, recently his talents have been restricted to the listeners of North Norfolk Digital.

But now, thanks to cutting-edge technology, you can have your very own, personalised Partridge broadcast, using just your iPhone and 99p.

Radio Alan: The Alan Partridge Player has been launched to coincide with the release of Alpha Papa and it is a thing of wonder: using songs from your iTunes library interspersed with audio clips of Alan talking 'on-air'. Amazingly, the app will even recognise songs that Alan specifically references - therefore, Kiss from a Rose will be preceded by Partridge announcing "Keep your clubs away from his young, it's Seal!"

We'd like to be the first to say that this app sounds like "lovely stuff".
