World Exclusive Clip Of Ex_Machina

There are two things you need to know about Ex_Machina.
 
The first that it’s pronounced ‘Ex Makina’, (you don’t want to sound like an amateur to any fellow cinemagoers, do you?), and the second being that it could very well be the one of the smartest, tautest and most intimate pieces of sci-fi for quite some time.
 
Starring Domnhall Gleeson as a programmer for an internet search giant who wins a trip of a lifetime to spend a week at the secluded mountain complex of the company’s enigmatic and genius CEO, we see the young coder soon realise he’s been sent there to help test the AI capabilities of a beautiful android named Eva (Alicia Vikander).
 
And with it marking the directorial debut of Alex Garland, the author and screenwriter behind hits like 28 Weeks Later and Sunshine, you won’t be too surprised to learn there’s a real human element to the claustrophobic terror and stunning FX as he develops feelings for the ‘bot.
 
And for this exclusive clip it’s definitely all about the human element, as things get heated between employee and employer, meeting to discuss the capabilities of Eva, and whether she might be lying to escape, adding further tension to the situation.
