These are five of the best Star Wars fan theories

It’s only 68 days until Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens hits our screens. Not that we’re counting or anything.

At least we can take solace in the fact we are not alone in our anticipation. To tide us over, the guys behind YouTube channel Dorkly have curated the best fan theories out there to whet our appetite.

If the lack of chronologically-ordered releases is enough to confuse you, be prepared to have your mind blown in as spectacular a fashion as the Death Star.

Qui-Gon Jinn might be a secret sith and Boba Fett could have murdered Luke’s Aunt and Uncle.

What’s more, Obi-Wan chose Tatooine as a hiding spot because Vadar would never look for them there and Han Solo is able to use the force without realising it.
