HR departments be damned, the Horrible Bosses gang are back and this time they’re turning to kidnapping.

The two Jasons (Sudeikis, Bateman) and Charlie Day reprise their roles as the formally disgruntled employees, kidnapping a rich kid (Chris Pine) in the hope of a big ransom from his father (Christoph Waltz). Spoiler alert: this won't go exactly to plan.

Picking up pointers along the way from Jamie Foxx’s bar-hopping hustler and Kevin Spacey’s sociopath – both returning to the thick of it – the naïve trio now actually believe they are on the cusp of having their very own criminal empire.

Another bonus is that Jennifer Aniston is also back, playing the slightly crazy nymphomaniac dentist she surprised audiences with last time around, and, from what we can see in the new trailer for the film below, she might steal the show once more.

The only horrible thing now is the wait for it to land in cinemas.

Horrible Bosses 2 is in cinemas from 28 November
