All of the films that Tarantino referenced in The Hateful Eight

Quentin Tarantino has managed the rare feat, throughout his career of managing to appeal to a mass audience, as well as keeping all those crucial film nerds happy.

And he's done it by being unafraid to exhibit his love and knowledge of the history of film, frequently nodding to scenes from classic movies - and even referencing his own work.

His latest film, The Hateful Eight, is no different, and video editor Ollie Paxton has cleverly edited together a guide to all of the films that Tarantino pays tribute to.

The full list is below - admire the clip above.

Stagecoach (1939)
The Magnificent Seven (1960)
Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966)
The Great Silence (1968)

Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Inglourious Basterds (2009)
Django Unchained (2012)
The Hateful Eight (2015)
