He was the pioneer of modern-day computing who was invaluable to Britain's efforts to win the war, yet a man whose life was not a happy one.

The Imitation Game, the story of Alan Turing, hits the big screen on November 14th and shines a welcome light on an overlooked hero of British history, whose efforts to crack the German Enigma code helped shorten the war and save countless lives.

We're delighted to be able to exclusively reveal a new clip, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Turing, alongside Keira Knightley, who plays Joan Clarke, a fellow code-breaker at Bletchley Park. They discuss Turing's idea for a universal machine - an electrical brain.

You can also watch the full trailer below, and see Keira talking about her favourite football pundits in our interview here.
