You can pick your jaw up from the floor now. That’s right, next to those discarded 3D glasses. Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity is as fine a film as you’re ever likely to watch set in the outer cosmos, and one that's still leaving its mark on audience members.

With this in mind, and to coincide with its assault on awards season, carrying an impressive 10 Oscar nominations under its (asteroid) belt, as well as standing 11 chances of winning some thoroughly deserved mantelpiece-filler at the BAFTA Awards next weekend, we’ve got our hands on an exclusive clip...

A snippet of one of the special features on the upcoming Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray, out 3 March, it features director Cuaron and his lead Sandra Bullock, as they discuss many of the metaphors which layer their interstellar thrill-ride.

You can see the footage below. Just don’t blame us for staring into space immediately afterwards.
