The £300 DC Character Pens

People don't really use pens much anymore - two little inventions called the computer and the internet have somewhat put paid to that - but if you need to put nib to paper these days, then you may as well do it in style.

And it doesn't get much better than this fantastic range of DC character-themed pens, available from Italian luxury writing implement firm Elmo & Montegrappa. They've taken inspiration from the colours and logos associated with Superman, Batman, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, the Green Lantern, the Riddler, the Joker and the Penguin to create a truly stylish pen - they're officially DC-affiliated too.

They come in three types: ballpoint, rollerball and fountain pen, which retail at $395 (£252), $435 (£278) and $475 (£303) respectively, which is a hefty price tag, but what sort of pen would superman use? Probably one like this. So you should too.
