The £1 million holiday

Saving up for a big summer getaway? Maybe you're cutting down on the meals out or you've stopped spending the odd day slumped in the bookies, weeping over the horses that let you down.

Well here's a holiday that might require a more drastic way of conserving cash. Since it costs £990,000 ($1.5 million), you'll probably need to sell your house that you rent anyway and win the lottery before you have a chance of affording it.

The luxurious two year trip will take you and your chosen one to every site that the World Heritage Committee believes has outstanding cultural and natural value. All 962 of them, including the Taj Mahal in India, the Great Pyramids in Egypt and Machu Picchu in Peru, pictures above.

Your money will also get you business class flights, obviously, and stays in high-end hotels, such as The Plaza in New York, Cipriani Hotel in Venice and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Moscow.

Oh and just in case you feel guilty for the big spend, a donation of £5000 will be made to UNESCO during your trip.

The trip has been created by VeryFirstTo, a luxury experiential website.
