If there's one thing Hollywood isn't known for, it's originality. On a weekly basis, the film industry is labeled as tired and unimaginative yet, time and time again, repetition still proves to be commercially successful.

So when a big movie is released, a smaller studio will piggyback on any possible success with a somewhat lesser version. We've assembled 20 of the most blatant examples of this for your bemusement. Just try to read this list without slightly respecting the audacity of it all. Go on.
