Guns with silencers? Check. Fights in bathrooms? Check. Strong Russian accents? Check. Tumbling into bed with attractive women... are you sure this isn't a new Bond film?

Fear not, this isn't 007 sliding back into old habits, but the latest trailer for Jack Ryan - a CIA analyst turned action man, originally penned by the late Tom Clancy.

Chris Pine stars as the unassuming agent, who uncovers a Russian plot to crash the US economy with a terrorist attack. Directed by Kenneth Branagh (who also channels his best 'Russian bad guy' for villain Viktor Cherevin), with a cast including Keira Knightley and Kevin Costner, Jack Ryan looks to take up the high octane spy espionage baton handed down by the likes of Misters Bourne and Bond.

Jack Ryan arrives in cinemas on 26th December 2013
