We regularly find ourselves asking the same question: what isn't made better when it's in Lego? The answer is, of course, bacon.
Case in point is 18-year-old LEGO fan Harry Bossert's film on the most memorable moments of 2012 all documented in the plastic bricks. Using a combination of the iconic bricks and minifigures, Harry has produced a video recreating the top ten moments of last year as voted by the British public (below).
At the top of the list is HRH The Queen and James Bond's impressive entrance at the Olympic Opening Ceremony, followed closely by Mo Farah’s Mobot, with one in ten claiming it was their top moment of 2012.
Coming a close third was daredevil skydiver, Felix Baumgartner’s free-fall from space followed by Andy Murray’s victory over Roger Federer in the Olympics men’s singles final at Wimbledon and first grand slam win at the US Open. Continuing with the sports theme was Sports Personality of the Year winner, Bradley Wiggins, whose Tour de France victory was also featured.
In at number six was the flotilla on the River Thames for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and at number seven charismatic Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt’s, record-breaking 100 metre win at the Olympics.
The Diamond Jubilee concert, Gangnam Style and the 23rd instalment of the Bond series, Skyfall came in the final three places.
