This Simpsons search engine is our new favourite meme generator

Screw emojis, this is the new champion of visual communication in the modern age.

Rivalling achievements such as Johnson's Dictionary, the complete works of Shakespeare and the Encyclopaedia Britannica, the Frinkiac is a searchable depository of some three million Simpsons screen captures. 

Enter your search term and the system will scan through its vast archive of images to find all references to the quote.

The creation of Sean Schulte, Paul Kehrer and Allie Young, the Frinkiac only contains images from the first 15 seasons of The Simpsons (because that's when we all stopped watching), cutting scenes into 100 images.

Once you've found your desired screen shot, you can then generate your own meme complete with Simpsons credit font.
